High hardness and good wear resistance: Hardness at room temperature can reach HRA78-89, good red hardness under high temperature, 600℃ over high-speed steel, 1000℃ over the room temperature of carbon steel.

High mechanical strength: The compressive strength of up to 6000MN/㎡, 900℃,the bending strength can still above 6000MN/㎡. 

High modulus of elasticity: Good rigidity at room temperature, no significant plastic deformation. Young’s modulus is 2-3 times than steel.

Corrosion resistance and good oxidation resistance: acid, alkali, at 6 00—800℃ without significant oxidation.

The linear expansion coefficient is small: in the range of 20 to 400℃ for steel 0.35-0.65 . 

Conductivity: similar with iron and ferroalloy.
